School Overview

Victoriano Elementary School is located in the city of Moreno Valley, and opened its doors in 1989. The school currently serves approximately 750 students in grades K-5. Our student population is approximately 47% Hispanic, 35% African-American, 11% White, 4% Filipino, 2% Asian, and 1% Pacific Islander. About 75% of our students participate in the Federal Free or Reduced-Price Lunch Program.

Victoriano has been recognized as a California Distinguished School, as well as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. The school has also been the recipient of the Title I Academic Achievement Award for five consecutive years. In the years of 2011-2013, our programs earned multiple STEM-STAR Awards from the California Business for Education Excellence Foundation. Also in 2011, the school was honored to receive the Golden Bell Award from the California School Boards Association. Most recently, Victoriano has been recognized by the Riverside County Office of Education as a 2014 Model of Academic Excellence and Innovation.

Although we are proud of our accomplishments, we continue to refine our academic programs with the goal of ensuring that every child will be college and career ready. In providing a strong foundation for our students we hope they will continue their educational success in secondary schools, and have every opportunity available to them upon graduation from the Val Verde Unified School District.
